History
 
The roots of the present HST-group go back to the HST Hydro-Systemtechnik that was founded in 1980 in Meschede. The parent company is the HST Systemtechnik GmbH, which is the lead holding that organizes the field of business and market activities of the individual branches and is responsible for the operational activities of the HST branch.
 
Since 1993 the HST-group is market leader for detention/ retention basin equipment. In 1998 the in Dresden and Witten located treatment plant supply company WKS was taken over by the HST and integrated into the branch structure. Through the addition of the core competences in the waste water treatment field we can now offer substantial and interrelated solutions in the interdisciplinary fields of waste water/ storm water transport and waste water/ storm water treatment
 
In order to combine this technical interrelation with the latest prospects of the luK technology, we have reinforced the IT-Systems branch with their own CompetenceCenter and software development.
 
The involvement with additional companies like Watec (water supply) allows the HST group to cover all areas of the water management industry competently and single handedly. Therefore, the HST group consists of companies that are 90% based on water management and environmental technologies.
 
Since 1995 the company "UNISERVE - Internet und Multimedia GmbH, www.uniserve.de" is part of the HST group and was founded with venture capital of HST. This company was added to the group in order to apply new internet technologies and know how to water management.
 
In early 2005 we have added an additional branch office, the HST Systemtechnik Nord GmbH to the HST group and have created an additional location in Germany that will serve northern Germany and Scandinavia with our familiar and new products.
